Lachlan Thornbury
Lead Educator
Spent fifteen years helping families untangle their finances. Used to work in corporate banking before realising most people just need someone to explain things without the sales pitch.
A structured learning path designed for Australians who want to master their money without complicated jargon or unrealistic promises.
Over the past few years, I've watched people transform their relationship with money—not through miracle solutions, but through consistent practice and honest conversations about what actually works. This program reflects what we've learned from real participants navigating real financial challenges.

Budget Planning Specialist
Designs the worksheets and tools participants actually use. Big believer that budgeting shouldn't feel like punishment—it's just paying attention to where your money goes.
Group Facilitator
Runs our monthly sessions where people share what's working and what isn't. Creates spaces where money conversations feel less awkward and more productive.
No fluff here. We focus on practical methods you can start using this week—not theory that sounds good but never gets applied.
Flexible learning that fits around your schedule, starting September 2025
Meet once a month in Castle Hill for two hours. We cover one topic deeply, answer questions, and troubleshoot real situations. Sessions run 7-9pm to accommodate work schedules.
Between sessions, you get a simple task to complete—usually takes 20-30 minutes. Nothing overwhelming, just consistent practice building the habit of paying attention to your finances.
Optional one-on-one sessions if you're stuck on something specific or just want to talk through your situation privately. Most people use this once or twice during the programme.
Templates, calculators, and guides you can download and adapt. Everything's editable so you can make it work for your specific circumstances rather than forcing yourself into a rigid system.
