Budget Workshops & Financial Events

What Actually Happens at Our Workshops

These aren't lecture halls where someone talks at you for hours. We keep groups small because the best learning happens when people can ask questions and share what's working for them.

Collaborative Problem-Solving

You'll work through real budgeting challenges in small groups. People learn different approaches from each other, which is often more valuable than any template we could provide.

Your Actual Numbers

Bring your bank statements if you're comfortable. We'll help you analyze your spending patterns and identify opportunities you might have missed. Everything stays confidential within your working group.

Follow-Up Support

After the workshop, you get access to our participant group where people share wins, setbacks, and questions. The ongoing support makes a bigger difference than the initial session for most people.

The Community We've Built

Since starting these workshops in 2019, we've watched people go from stressed about money to actually having plans they feel good about. The numbers tell part of the story, but the conversations we hear tell the rest.

Portrait of Bjorn Lindqvist, workshop participant

I'd been tracking my spending for months but couldn't figure out why I was always short at month's end. During the workshop, someone pointed out I was categorizing irregular expenses as one-offs instead of averaging them monthly. Such a simple shift, but it changed everything. Three months later, I actually had money left over for the first time in years.

Year-End Financial Planning

December 8, 2024 | Online

Our largest online event with 43 participants. We covered tax preparation, setting financial goals for 2025, and reviewing what worked (or didn't) in 2024 budgets. The breakout rooms for discussing specific challenges worked really well.

Couples & Money Workshop

October 21, 2024 | Parramatta
